Terms of Use

Womplaz designs technologies and services that allow everyone to connect, form communities and grow their business. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Womplaz and other products, features, applications, services, technology and software offered by us (the Womplaz Products or the Products), except where we expressly state that separate terms (and not these ) apply. These Products are provided to you by Womplaz Sarl.

We do not charge you for using Womplaz or the other products and services included in these Terms. Instead, companies and organizations pay us to show you ads for their products and services. By using our Products, you consent to us showing you advertisements that we believe are relevant to you based on your interests. We use your personal data to define the advertisements to show you.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers and do not share information that directly identifies you (such as your name, email address or any other contact details) with advertisers, unless expressly authorized by you. Instead, advertisers tell us information, such as the type of audience they want to show their ads to, and we show those ads to people who might be interested. We send advertisers reports on the performance of their ads to help them understand how people are interacting with their content. See Section 2 below for more information.

Our Data Use Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data in order to define the advertisements you see and to provide you with all the services described below. You can also access your Settings at any time to review the privacy options you have regarding our use of your data.

The services we provide
Our mission is to give everyone the opportunity to create or access a community and share professional social experiences. To further this mission, we provide you with the Products and services described below:

We provide you with a personalized experience:

your Womplaz experience is unlike anyone else's. Whether it's the posts, stories, events, advertisements and other content you see in the News Feed or on our video platform, or the Womplaz Pages you follow and other features you can use, such as Top Stories, Womplaz Marketplace, and Search. We use the data we have, for example about the connections you make, the options and settings you select, and what you share and do on and off our Products, to personalize your experience.

We connect you with the people and organizations that matter to you:

we help you find and connect with the people, groups, businesses, organizations and others that matter to you across all of the Womplaz Products you use. We use the data we have to provide suggestions to you and others, such as groups to join, events to attend, Womplaz Pages to subscribe to or message, programs to watch and people you might want to befriend. The best communities are built on strong connections, and we believe our services are most useful when people are connected to the people, groups, and organizations that matter to them.

We give you all the means to express yourself and communicate about what matters to you:

there are many ways to express yourself on Womplaz and communicate with your friends, family and others about what matters to you, such as sharing statuses, photos, videos, audio, voice, files and stories through the Womplaz Products you use, sending messages to a friend or several people, creating events or groups, or adding content to your profile.

We help you discover content, products and services that may be of interest to you:

we show you advertisements, offers and other sponsored content to help you discover content, products and services that are offered by the many companies and organizations that use Womplaz and other Womplaz Products. Section 2

below offers more detailed explanations.

We fight harmful behavior, and we protect and support our community:

People will only form a community on Womplaz if they feel safe there. We employ dedicated teams around the world and develop advanced technical systems to detect misuse of our Products, harmful behavior towards others and situations where we may be able to support or protect our community. If such content or behavior comes to our attention, we will take appropriate action, such as offering help, removing the content, removing or restricting access to certain features, deactivating an account, or contacting the police. We share data with other Womplaz Entities when we detect misuse or harmful behavior by someone using one of our Products.

We are looking for ways to improve our services:

we engage in research to develop, test and improve our Products. This includes analyzing the data we have about our users and understanding how people use our Products, for example, by conducting surveys and testing and resolving issues that arise in new features. Our Data Use Policy explains how we use data to support research to develop and improve our services.

Provide consistent and seamless experiences across all Products of Womplaz entities:

our Products help you find and connect with people, groups, businesses, organizations and others that matter to you. We design our systems so that your experience is consistent and seamless across all of the different Womplaz Entity Products that you use.

Enable international access to our services:

For our global service to work, we must store and distribute content and data in our data centers and systems around the world, including outside of your country of residence. This infrastructure may be operated or controlled by Womplaz Sarl or its subsidiaries.

How our services are funded
Instead of paying for the use of Womplaz and the other products and services we offer, by using the Womplaz Products included in these Terms, you agree to our showing you advertisements paid for by companies and organizations for us to promote. on the Products of Womplaz entities and outside. We use your personal data, such as information about your activity and interests, to show you advertisements that are more relevant to you.

Privacy is at the heart of the design of our advertising system. This means that we can show you relevant and useful advertisements without telling advertisers who you are. We do not sell your personal data. We allow advertisers to give us information, such as their business objective and the type of audience they want to show their ads to (for example, people aged 18-35 who love cycling). Then we show their ad to people who might be interested.

Additionally, we send advertisers reports on the performance of their ads to help them understand how people are interacting with their content on and off Womplaz. For example, we will provide advertisers with general information regarding demographics and interests (for example, an advertisement was seen by a woman between the ages of 25 and 34 who lives in Madrid and likes IT) to help them better understand their audience. We do not share any information that directly identifies you (information such as your name or email address which, by itself, can be used to contact or identify you) without obtaining your specific permission.

We collect and use your personal data in order to provide you with the services described above. To learn more about how we collect and use your data, see our Data Use Policy. You can control the types of advertisements and advertisers you see and the types of information we use to define the advertisements we show you.

Your commitments to Womplaz and our community
We provide these services to you and others to further our mission. In exchange, we need you to make the following commitments:

Who can use Womplaz
First of all,

Womplaz (WOM (WOMEN) PLAZ (PLACE) Z  the last letter of the alphabet—meaning that women on Womplaz will fight until the last Energy to achieve their social-professional goals) is a platform dedicated to women, but we agree that men intervening in and for the mission that Womplaz has given itself, can also register there.

When people are accountable for their opinions and actions, our community is safer and more accountable. For this reason, you must:

use the same name that you use on a daily basis;
provide accurate information about you;
create a single account (yours) and use your diary for personal purposes;
not share your password, allow others to access your Womplaz account, or transfer your account to anyone (without our permission).
We try to make Womplaz widely available to everyone, but you can't use Womplaz if:

you are under the age of 13 (or the minimum legal age in your country to use our Products);
you are a convicted sex offender;
we have previously disabled your account for violating our Terms and Conditions or our Rules;
you are not entitled to receive our products, services or software under applicable laws.
What you can share and do on Womplaz Products
We want people to use Womplaz Products to express themselves and share content that matters to them, but not at the expense of the safety and well-being of others or the integrity of our community. You therefore agree not to act in the manner described below (or encourage or support others to do so):

You may not use our Products to do or share anything:
violates these Terms, our Community Standards, and other terms and policies applicable to your use of our Products;
that is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or fraudulent;
that infringes or violates third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
You may not upload viruses or malicious code or act in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper functioning or appearance of our Products.
You must not collect data about our Products or access such data by automated means (without our prior permission), or attempt to access data that you are not authorized to access.
We may remove or limit access to content that violates these provisions.

If we remove content you've shared because it violates our Community Standards, we'll let you know and explain your options for requesting a review. You will not be able to make this request if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms or if doing so incurs our or any third party's legal liability, harms our community of users, or compromises or alters the integrity or operation of our services, systems or Products, or where there are technical restrictions or where we are prohibited from doing so for legal reasons.

To help us support our community, we encourage you to report any content or behavior that you believe violates your rights (including your intellectual property rights) or our terms and policies.

We may also remove or limit access to your content, services, or information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to avoid or mitigate adverse legal or regulatory effects on Womplaz.

The permissions you grant us
We need certain permissions from you to be able to provide our services:

Permission to Use Content You Create and Share: Content you share or upload, such as photos, audios, files, or videos, may be protected by intellectual property rights.
You own the intellectual property rights (such as copyrights and trademarks) to all content you create and share on Womplaz and other Womplaz Entity Products you use. Nothing in these Terms takes away any rights you have to your own content. You are free to share your content with anyone, anywhere.

However, in order for us to provide our services, you must give us certain legal permissions (called "licenses") to use this content. This is solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Products and services, as described in Section 1 above.

In particular, when you share, post or upload copyrighted content.

intellectual property on or related to our Products, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, perform, copy, publicly perform or publicly display, translate and create derivative works of your content (in accordance with your privacy and application settings). This means, for example, that if you share a photo on Womplaz, you give us permission to store, copy and share it with others (again, subject to your settings), such as services that support our Service or other Womplaz Products you use. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems.

You can delete your content individually or all at once by deleting your account. Learn how to delete your account. You can download a copy of your data at any time before deleting your account.

When you delete content, it is no longer visible to other users. However, it may persist elsewhere, in our systems, when:

immediate deletion is not possible due to technical restrictions (in which case your content will be deleted within a maximum of 90 days from the time you delete it);
your content has been used by third parties in accordance with the license, and they have not deleted it (in which case, this license continues to apply until the content is deleted); Where
where immediate deletion would limit our ability:
identify or investigate illegal activities or violations of our Terms and Policies (for example, identify or investigate misuse of our Products or systems);
to comply with a legal obligation, such as the preservation of evidence; Where
comply with the request of a judicial or administrative authority, a law enforcement authority or a governmental body;
in which case, the content will not be retained longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was retained (the exact duration varying on a case-by-case basis).

In each of the cases mentioned above, the license lasts until the complete deletion of the content.

Permission to use your name, profile photo and information about your actions in connection with advertisements and sponsored content: you authorize us to use your name and profile photo and information about the actions you have taken on Womplaz alongside or in connection with advertisements, offers and other sponsored content that we display through our Products, without paying you any compensation. We can, for example, show your friends that you are interested in a promoted event or that you liked a Page created by a brand that has paid us to display its advertisements on Womplaz. This type of advertising is only visible to people you authorize to see the actions you have taken on Womplaz Products.
Permission to update the software you use or download: If you download or use our software, you authorize us to download and install software updates, as applicable.
Limits on the use of our intellectual property
If you use content covered by intellectual property rights that we own and make available in our Products (for example, images, designs, videos or sounds that we provide and that you add to content that you create or share on Womplaz), we retain all rights to that content (but not yours). You may only use our copyrights or trademarks (or any other similar marks) as expressly permitted by our Trademark Usage Rules or after receiving written permission from us. You must obtain our written permission (or permission under an open source license) to modify, create derivative works from, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract our source code.

Womplaz is free to stop paying for interactions on its site at any time. Whether it's earnings on all interactions or on affiliations, we are free to stop this option at any time. Nevertheless, we undertake to pay all the balance already present in the account at the time of the stop.

Additional Provisions
Update to our Terms
We strive to constantly improve our services and develop new features to provide better Products to you and our community. As such, we may update these Terms from time to time to properly reflect our services and practices. We will modify them only if the provisions are no longer adequate or if they are incomplete, and if the modifications are reasonable and take your interests into account.

We will notify you (for example, by email or through our Products) at least 30 days before we

modify these Terms and give you the opportunity to review them before they become effective, unless the modifications are required by law. Once the revised Terms become effective, you will be bound by them if you continue to use our Products.

We hope you will continue to use our Products, but if you disagree with our revised Terms and no longer wish to be part of the Womplaz community, you can delete your account at any time.

Suspension or deletion of an account
We want to make Womplaz a place that is both warm and secure, where everyone can express themselves and share their opinions and ideas.

If you are found to have blatantly, seriously or repeatedly violated our Terms or our Rules, including our Community Standards, we may suspend or permanently disable access to your account. We may also suspend or deactivate your account if you repeatedly infringe third-party intellectual property rights or if we are required by law to do so.

If we do so, we will let you know and explain your options for requesting a review, unless doing so would subject us or a third-party to legal liability, harm our user community, or compromise or impair the integrity or operation of our sources, systems or Products, or where there are technical restrictions or where we are prohibited from doing so for legal reasons.

Limits of liability
We make every effort to provide the best possible Products and give clear guidelines to all users. However, our Products are provided “as is” and we cannot guarantee that they will always be secure, risk-free or error-free, or that they will function without interruptions, delays or imperfections. To the extent permitted by law, we also disclaim ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We can't control or direct what people do or say, and we're not responsible for their actions or conduct (online or offline) or the content they share (whether offensive, inappropriate, obscene, illegal or otherwise objectionable).

We are unable to predict when problems may arise with our Products. Accordingly, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and we shall in no event be liable to you for any loss of profits, revenue, information or data, or incidental, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or incidental arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Womplaz Products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Disputes
We try to provide clear rules so that we can limit or hopefully avoid disputes between you and us. However, if a dispute arises, it is useful to know in advance where it can be resolved and what laws will apply.

If you are a consumer, the laws of the country in which you reside will apply to any claim, cause of action or dispute against us arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Womplaz Products. here, and you may resolve your claim in any competent court in that country which can adjudicate the claim. In all other cases, you agree that the claim shall be resolved exclusively in a court in Center Cameroon Yaoundé. You also agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of any such court in connection with any such claims and agree that the law of the State of Cameroon shall govern these Terms and any claims, without regard to the provisions regarding conflict of laws.

Other
These Terms (formerly known as the “Statement of Rights and Responsibilities”) form the entire agreement between you and Womplaz Sarl. regarding your use of our Products. They supersede any prior agreement.
Some of the Products offered by us are also governed by additional terms. If you use any of these Products, the additional terms will be made available and will form part of our agreement with you. For example, if you use or access our Products for commercial or professional purposes, such as to buy advertisements, to sell products, to develop applications, to manage a group or a Page for your commercial activity, or to use our measurement services, you must agree to our Terms of Business. S

If you post or share content that contains music, you must follow our Music Policies. To the extent any additional terms conflict with these Terms, the additional terms will control to the extent of the conflict.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining part will remain in full force and effect. If we fail to enforce any of these Terms, this will not be considered a waiver. Any amendment to or waiver of these Terms must be in writing and signed by us.
You will not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party without our consent.
You can designate someone (called a "legatee contact") to manage your account if it becomes a memorial account. Only your legatee contact or someone you have identified in a valid will or similar document that clearly indicates your consent to disclosure of your content in the event of your death or incapacity will be able to request disclosure of your account after it has been transformed into a commemoration account.
These Terms do not confer any third party beneficiary rights. All of our rights and obligations under these Terms are freely assignable by us in connection with any merger, acquisition or sale of our assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. case.
You should be aware that we may need to change the username associated with your account in certain circumstances (for example, when another person claims the username and the username seems unrelated to the name that you use on a daily basis). We will let you know in advance if we need to do this and explain why.
We always welcome your feedback and other suggestions about our products and services. Please be aware, however, that we may use them without any restriction or obligation to pay, and that we are not required to keep them confidential.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
